Privacy Policy

Pikesville MBB App is a private team operations app for Pikesville basketball players, coaches, managers, and administrators. The app is used for team scheduling, assignments, RSVP tracking, practice plans, scouting, player development, statistics, alerts, and game workflow.

Information We Collect

We collect account and profile information needed to run the team app, such as name, email address, role, roster profile, player height, player photo, parent or guardian contact details, assignment submissions, RSVP responses, alerts, scouting notes, practice notes, evaluations, development plans, game statistics, direct and group messages, and photos or documents uploaded to profiles, assignments, or conversations.

How We Use Information

Information is used only to operate the team program, manage access, communicate team updates, track attendance, review assignments, prepare for practices and games, and maintain basketball development records for authorized users. Messages are used only for communication among invited members of the basketball program.

Who Can See Information

Access is role-based. Players can view their own permitted profile information, assignments, development plans, schedules, alerts, and approved team content. Coaches and administrators can view team information needed to run the program. Parent or guardian contact information is visible only to the player, coaches, and administrators. Player evaluations are restricted and are not shown directly to players unless a player-facing version has been created for them.

Photos And Uploaded Content

Users may upload player photos, proof photos for assignments, and images or documents in team messages. These uploads are used only inside the team app for roster identification, assignment review, team communication, or team administration.

Messaging Safety And Moderation

Team messaging is restricted to authenticated, invited program members. The app filters prohibited language and lets users report a message or block messages from another user. Reports are provided to the program administrator for review. Message edits, deletions, reported content, and archived conversations may be retained in a restricted moderation record for team safety, accountability, and incident response. Team alerts are not disabled when a user blocks another user's messages.

Notifications

If a user enables notifications, the app may send alerts about assignments, RSVP reminders, practice or game reminders, proof review updates, coach notes, and team announcements. Users can manage device notification permissions through their device settings.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not use user data for third-party advertising. Data may be processed by service providers that power the app, such as hosting, database, authentication, file storage, push notification, and app distribution services.

Data Retention

Team records may be kept for the duration of the season and for historical program reporting unless an administrator deletes or archives them. Moderation records may be retained as reasonably necessary to investigate safety concerns or document program incidents. Users may request updates or removal of their account access by contacting the program administrator.

Children And Team Use

The app is intended for invited members of the Pikesville basketball program and is not open for public registration. Parent or guardian contact information may be stored for team communication and safety purposes.
